Electricity from Garbage - Clark County Indiana

Recently, we hauled some construction materials and old furniture to the Clark-Floyd County, Indiana dump. It costs a minimum of $30 a load. Driving back to the dumping area I saw this power generation station. It looks like there are two generators and workers looked to be building a place for a third one.

The containers had General Electric labels.

This pictures shows an office and two generators.

There were mounds with pipes sticking out of them so I am guessing these are garbage piles decomposing into fuel for the generators.

Works creating a new pad for more equipment?

Where stuff is actively being dumped. Notice the black plastic liners in the distance.
