Watermelon Planting Hills Located in Indiana

Watermelon planting hills surrounded by black plastic in Clark County, Indiana. Bricks and metal rods are used to weigh down the plastic. The plastic sheets are used to control weeds, trap moisture, and raise the heat of the planting hills they surround.

A small Charleston Gray watermelon plant emerging from the ground.
